Not Just a Pledge...                 
​It's a process.  






Our goals originate with Blair Lauren Brown Inc's process of sourcing the most ethical gold. That process began in telling a story, carrying on a 4 generation family legacy, protecting a community & ultimately our backyard for future generations. Wanting to share that core motivation and the beneficial outcomes of that love with a broader community is what keeps these efforts boring forward. Our goal has evolved  to take those considerations and integrity to scale,  in the pursuit of doing the best for and by our communities as a collective. This effort, to create The U.S. Gold Collective is going to work exactly as stated - in a collective fashion.
  1. Define our tripple bottom line Goals in an industry facing format: environmental + humanitarian + financial
  2. Create a "Gold Standard" certification
  3. Certify as Made in USA

How do we calibrate our goals?
How to set reasonable milestones?
​How do we communicate those milestones?
Beyond a transparent supply chain, sharing the story, & supplying the gold, what can we do to keep moving forward?

Step 1 - March 2017 - coordinate new relationships:

a. made in use (stamp with lawyer assistance)
b. refinery relationship or partnership
c. SGS certified green
d. jewelers on board for membership *started
e. jewelers on board for gold purchase *started
f. partner orgs for outreach: IAC, Earthworks, No Dirty Gold, Ethical Metalsmiths *started
f. electronics & alt industry outreach
