Please remember the SATELite mission when applying! Inspire us - help us see and understand your passion for this project. We would like to encourage your creativity in the application process, give us a sense of your personality, we simply ask that you respond to all the presented questions.
Upon completion projects will be showcased at the festival and in the book. Each grant recipient will be asked to acknowledge the grant that made their adventure possible in the documentation - media - story - and the like. They will also be profiled on the website for the year with periodic updates on their adventure. Recipients will also serve as Ambassadors at following events. Title grant donors may serve on the board in the selection process of recipients, and thus may request additional support from the recipients. As an applicant please be advised that there may be additional documentation or appearances requested depending on your specific grant, the nature of your project, and the amount you receive.
Grants range from $500 to $5000 – however product requests may alter and vary the relative monetary amount. Following in the application process you will be asked to outline the entire project budget – knowing this information allows us to be creative in our support, as we may have access to something that allows us to accommodate in other ways.
Grant applicants will be notified of their status within 6 weeks. This year 2010 – we are accepting applications on a rolling basis for projects that can be showcased by the 11th of September 2010. If your project is complete but you still require assistance to bring the documentation full circle you may still apply.
